The Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam will have to construct about 15 lakh new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) in the next 18 months. In order to achieve faster, leaner and higher quality construction of houses to be built, a multi-stakeholder consultation workshop will be held on 24th of December 2020 in Guwahati, Assam to gather inputs / ideas in the field of prefabricated houses inter alia other possible options.

Academia, industry experts, consultants, training providers, manufactures of conventional building materials and manufacturers of prefabricated/modular materials/similar construction are welcome to be a part of this revolution and register online to attend the consultation workshop on or before 21st December 2020.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, the workshop will be now held in the last week of December 2020. New date along with time and venue will be intimated to the participants through email.
